DOC - SEASON 2 - WE HEAR FROM STAR MOLLY PARKER and THE CAST

The hit series DOC returns with an explosive new Season on September 23rd and star Molly Parker is excited for fans to see what is instore for Dr. Amy Larsen.

The medical procedural DOC revolves around Dr Amy Larsen, played by Molly Parker. A succesful and ruthless surgeon, Laresen experienced a traumatic car crash in Season 1 that led to extensive memory loss.

This has been one of Parker’s most challenging characters to date and Molly Parker and credits much of the show’s success to how gripping the central storyline is. The hook of a woman losing a huge chunk of her memory and seeing how that one event “creates ripple effects” to all of the people around her is just deeply compelling. The series also serves as a medical mystery type of show with its cases, operating as a procedural, and still having this hook of great characters.

Speaking of characters, most of the original cast is back including Amirah Vann, Omar Metwally and Patrcik Walker all who will have plenty of time over the 22 episode run to explore thier character arcs.

A welcome addition to this season is veteran actress Felicity Huffman who plays Dr. Joan Ridley, a long time friend of Amy’s and as Huffman describes her, a quirky, “unorthodox” character.

Season 2 of DOC starts airing on GLOBAL TV on September 23rd and the following day on STACK TV

I spoke with stars Molly Parker, Felicity Huffman, Amirah Vann, Omar Metwally & Patrick Walker about what we can expect from Season 2.

THE GROOMSMEN TRILOGY- JONATHAN BENNETT, B.J. BRITT and TYLER HYNES GIVE US THE SCOOP

Time to suit up for the Hallmark Channel’s new three-part series, The Groomsmen!

The Groomsmen three-part series tells the stories of Pete (B.J. Britt), a kind-hearted pediatrician with a penchant for planning; Danny (Jonathan Bennett), an ex-jock with a heart of gold; and Jackson (Tyler Hynes), the stylish and charming social media agent, as they move into the next chapters of their lives.

The Groomsmen: First Look begins with Pete (B.J. Britt, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), who meets Chelsea (Heather Hemmens, Roswell, New Mexico), an adventurous traveling surgeon, at a wedding where she’s maid of honor to Danny’s sister. Their awkwardly charming first meeting sparks a real connection, but Chelsea’s demanding career soon tests the possibility of anything more. As feelings deepen, Pete and Chelsea must navigate the challenges of a long-distance relationship — and the sacrifices it entails.

The next chapter follows Danny (Jonathan Bennett, Mean Girls), an assistant baseball coach, who finally realizes he’s in love with his best friend and manager, Zack (Alexander Lincoln, Doctors). But just as Danny is ready to confess his feelings, Zack announces he’s engaged! Danny, ever the supportive friend, declares himself the “best man ever” and helps plan the wedding in Greece. With unexpected twists, Danny and Zack explore the fine line between friendship and love — and how sometimes, the right moment comes when you least expect it.

Set months after Danny’s story, the final chapter follows Jackson (Tyler Hynes, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story) — a dedicated dad, thriving social media agent, and self-proclaimed lifelong bachelor — as he temporarily moves to Italy to be closer to his teenage daughter, Betty (Chloe Raphael, Bodies). While adjusting to co-parenting in a new country and feeling adrift without his friends, Jackson meets Gabriella (Elena Rusconi, 6 Underground), a charming local café owner. Though love is the last thing on his mind, those closest to him — including Betty — see a spark he can’t ignore. Sometimes, the biggest surprises come when you least expect them — and everyone deserves a second chance at love.
